I've seen some scary accidents while filling up with gas, and since I own a 2024 Canyon 336, I want to make sure I'm staying safe. Does anyone have security tips or best practices for fueling up? and any advice to prevent accidents or hazards would be really appreciated

@Racoons_ Yep, basic safety rules are critical:

ENGINE OFF.
NO SMOKING / CELL PHONES.
Touch metal first to discharge static.
Stay with the pump.
Don't overfill.
Be aware of surroundings for security.
Knowing where the emergency shut off is also a huge plus!
they're all simple but very important

Why don't more folks take fueling safety seriously, especially around RVs like the 336? With propane systems and tight stations, even small mistakes can turn into big problems fast.

Most fuel dock accidents come from folks rushing or treating it like a car fill-up. On a 336, you've got more to lose slow down, kill all power, stay grounded, and never trust the nozzle to auto-stop
