Hey all, just wanted to share a small change we made that ended up making a big difference on our grady. We swapped out the old curtesy lights for soft white LEDs, mostly because one had burned out and the others looked tired. Didn't think much of it at the time, but wow, it totally changed the feel of the boat and its def way more inviting at night now, easy on the eyes, and just enough light to keep things safe without ruining the vibe. We added one by the cabin step too, which has already saved us from a couple of stubbed toes. Might even add a few more under the gunnel or near the cockpit seating.
We didn't expect to care this much about lighting, but here we are. Little upgrade, big cozy factor.

Hell yeah, Mike and Martha! That's a nice set-up, really helpful for people out here looking for the same vibe. From a fishing trip to a floating lounge, that kind of thing. Invite us over for some dinner party on the water, will ya?

Sounds good! Its always surprising how much of a difference lighting can make. Do you remember which LED brand or type you used? I've been thinking about doing something similar and wouldn't mind a recommendation..
